Help Get Speaking Grief Broadcast on Your Local Public Broadcasting Station

If you don’t see a broadcast time for your local station, a friendly call or e-mail can help ensure broadcast or repeat broadcasts of Speaking Grief. Stations have a mission to serve their communities, and viewer feedback does impact programming decisions.

Contact the station programmer, the public affairs director, the director of community outreach, or the general manager for assistance. Explain your interest in the documentary and let them know that the program is distributed by American Public Television (APT).

Dear XXX,

I need your help to start a national conversation about grief!

I want to make sure that you are aware of a very important documentary and project created by the public media station WPSU. The Speaking Grief project explores how we can get better at responding to grief in our society. Over half of public media stations across the country have already scheduled airdates, but we don’t have a date for ***XXXX Station Name*** yet.

***Insert personal message of why you think this is personally beneficial to you and your community***

The film is being distributed by American Public Television. The project website is https://speakinggrief.org/

Thank you!
